Maintenance work at Emu Point Albany

In March 2012 Deploy Subsea were commissioned by Transfield Services to carry out maintenance and repair work on Department of Transport assets at Emu Point Harbour in Albany. The scope of work included inspections, underwater welding of strengthening plates to steel piles, installation of protective wrapping to steel and timber piles, grouting of existing piles and ultrasonic inspection of timber piles using the PEER System. The work was carried out over a two week period and a comprehensive completion report was provided once the work was successfully completed.
